An Interview With Stephanie Cook ~ Critiqulous

Here's another interview for your reading pleasure. This time, it's with Stephanie Cook, an independent model hailing from Michigan. With previous interviews I've done on this blog, they were through e-mail. This interview with Stephanie however was done through instant messenger. And now, onto the interview with Stephanie Cook.

CRITIQULOUS: Hello Stephanie, how are you?

STEPHANIE COOK: I'm good.

How did you get into modeling?

I was living in Canada with an ex-boyfriend for a summer. I saw an ad for a photographer wanting to take pics. It seemed fishy so i went with him to check it out. It was super fun (and) he told me about the website ModelMayhem. Rest is history.

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, Fashion Week in Paris/Milan, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. For a lot of models, those are their dream gigs, their confirmation of they've made it. What's your dream gig/sign that you've made it?

Sports Illustrated. I love modeling swim suits and the more sexier side of the magazine. Wait, just kidding. LOL. I didn't see Vicky. Umm, I guess my answer stays the same.

Last year I interviewed a photographer (read that interview here) who specialized in fashion shoots. He told me that whenever he does shoots he usually has some music playing, most of the time music of the model's choosing so that the environment is relaxed and fun. Do have music playing with your shoots and if so, what's playing?

Beyonce, Britney Spears, Usher, etc. anything fierce that will get me pumped up.

What is your dream location to do a shoot in?

Anything exotic. Tahiti, Bora Bora, Puerto Rico.

Speaking of Puerto Rico and being that you're Puerto Rican, have you ever been there?

Yeah, multiple times.

If you had to put your finger on just one thing, what's your favorite part about Puerto Rico?

The clothes are amazing!

Nice. Okay, I know you are a huge Michael Jackson fan. Can you tell me without a shadow of doubt what is your favorite Michael Jackson song?

"Human Nature"

Why that song?

I love his vocals, the lyrics, and the rhythm.

Good song. The general opinion of the song is that it's about New York City, which is a city I personally love. Let's see, any plans to get into acting?

If the opportunity arises.

If you could be on any show that's on right now, which would be your top three?

"Desperate Housewives," "The Bachelorette," and have my own reality show, hah.

What would the reality show focus on? Just your day to day life?

Haha yes.

Could be interesting and I'd keep an eye out for that if it happens. Are there any last words or anything you'd like to say to anyone that's familiar with you on Model Mayhem or your Twitter? I know you're starting to get quite a following on the latter.
